You must be 18yrs of age or older to register as a mystery shopper with our company.
If you would like to input yourself into our database as an active mystery shopper please go to the homepage (main page). When the page is displayed please go to the "Shoppers" portion of the site, when the menu displays please click the "Registration Page" option, it will then take you to the "Terms of Agreement" page, where you will need to read over everything very carefully. Once you have clicked "Agree" to the terms of agreement, it will then take you to a TEST page; you will have to answer a 20 question test in order to be registered into our system.
The two most common asked questions about the registration are:
- Can I sign up for free? Yes. You can register yourself into our database for FREE.
- Why do you need my Social Security Number? As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for keeping your own earnings records and reporting your earnings to the governing tax boards as BES does not withhold taxes for you. As per the IRS requirements, BES will send you a 1099 statement of earnings form at the end of each calendar year if you earn $600.00 or more in the calendar year (and this is why we would need your SSN). If you have earned less than $600.00, you will not receive a 1099 from our company. (you can CALL in and have somebody enter your SSN for you, if you do not want to enter it online) **IF you are a new shopper go ahead and put in ZEROES to submit your registration, and if you make over $600.00 or more in the calendar year we will call you for that information**
After you have completely filled out the registration you are automatically inputted into our database, which means you can start looking over our site for available mystery shops.
In order to look over the entire site you will need to now log in. You can do this by going to the Log In part of the site and then by clicking on the Shopper Log-In. At this time you will enter in your full email address in the top box and in the second box you will enter the password that you chose when you registered. Remember: The website is case-sensitive you will need to make sure that you are inputting your email and password exactly how you entered it into our system when you registered.
After the computer shows that you have been logged in you can then view available assignments on the website by going to the "View Available Shops" option. This list will automatically pull a complete list of shops that are currently available, the website is automatically updated, and this means it is always up to date. You can restrict the list by state if you'd like, it's up to you on how you would like to view available shops. If you do not see anything available in any of the areas you can shop, it is either because our company has nothing in the area for the month or because we do have shops in the area but they do not show because they have already been scheduled to other shoppers. It is your responsibility as a shopper and independent contractor to check back on the website as often as you'd like to view/catch available shops. Our goal every month is to put a majority of our upcoming month’s shops in by the 15th of the current month. Other shops go in randomly throughout the month. Sometimes we do send out bulk emails to all areas with available shops, so it's best when filling out your registration that you list all cities and states that you are available to shop. But remember bulk emails are not always sent, so again it is your responsibility to check the site for available mystery shops.
If you do see a shop that you are interested in, that is located in an area you can shop you will need to look over the shop(s); Due Date, Shop Pay, Location, Shop notes, etc. After you have looked over the full information and you are 100% sure that you can perform the shop in its entirety, you can then click the "Request" button to put in a request for the shop. When you put in a request you are agreeing that you will perform the shop in it's entirety by the due date, which is the last date shown on your shop which is your DUE DATE by 11:59pm that day. FYI: When putting in a request please remember that you are not guaranteed the shop, there might be other shopper’s requests for that same shop that we are looking at as well, and it is up to the shop's Account Manager to decide who the best person for the shop is. If you are the shopper we would like for the particular shop, the Account Manager will assign you to the shop. Usually an automated "Assigned" email will be sent to you as soon as you are assigned, but unfortunately email is not always reliable, so it is your responsibility as a shopper to check your "Assigned Shops" on the website after making a request for a shop. We do have auto emails that go out no matter if you are assigned to a shop or not. Say another shopper was assigned to a shop that you had also put in a request for, our auto email is set up to send you an email stating you did not get the shop, but again email is not always reliable. If you are assigned you can then log in and view the shop's full forms and instructions (which you were not able to view before you were assigned).
Important: Always make sure to keep our phone number handy, sometimes peoples computers go down and if you don't have our phone number anywhere but on your computer, you would have problems contacting us if something came up that you needed to tell us about. So it's always best to keep the number in a place other than your computer. FYI: Your friends or family members can also sign up with our company.
The last thing I would recommend is to read over the FAQ's for Shoppers page on our website. That page will answer a lot of questions that shoppers always have.
Thank you for showing interest in our company; we appreciate your application to become a shopper. And we hope to work with you very soon.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at anytime.
