Why it takes time to receive payment......
It generally takes the client’s 3 to 6 weeks to notify us if there are shops they reject and are unwilling to pay for either due to inaccuracies or fraud.
When we pay too quickly we have no recourse as the shoppers have already been paid and we lose on the pay as well as not being paid for the shops from the client.
I want to go over how our payment process works and the wait time. I also want to make sure you have read carefully over our terms and that there is no confusion.
Our Terms: http://www.mysteryshopperservices.com/website/app_disclaimer.asp?DepartmentID=31
It states "Payment: Payment for all shops typically takes 60 Business Days (Mon - Fri) from the approved/edited date of your shop {unless otherwise noted in your shop notes online}."
Some shoppers on confused by what "Business Days" means. - Our office Business Days are Mondays through Fridays. This means we do not count Saturdays or Sundays into those typical 60 Business Days.
We are moving to PAYPAL ONLY {make sure your paypal email is updated in our system so there are no issues}. IF you do not have a PayPal account currently, you WILL need to sign up for one as soon as possible {to continue to work for us}.
A lot of shoppers think that the 60 Business days starts from the date they turn in their shop. - The Terms specifically state that the 60 Business days starts from the date your shop is approved.
The reason it takes 60 Business days
The reason for the delay is that it generally takes the Clients 3 to 4 weeks to notify us if there are shops they reject and are unwilling to pay for either due to inaccuracies or fraud. When we pay too quickly we have no recourse as the shoppers have already been paid and we lose on the pay as well as not being paid for the shops from the client.
- Inaccuracies meaning: the employee name does not match anybody that works at the store, the time you inputted doesn't match what they see on the video tape, the person you say helped you wasn't even there that day, etc....
- Fraud meaning: Nothing on your report matches up, and you have failed to provide verification of shop, which 99% of the time means a fraud shop and shopper.
- If there are issues or concerns with the shop you turned in and it’s rejected, we will let you know it’s rejected and let you know how to make corrections & re-submit.
If at any time you are confused, concerned, or have any questions about your payment or anything else, please contact us immediately. We can look directly into it for you and give you detailed information for your records.
